Fernando

Hiranya (Hira) Fernando has 15+years in industry before she decided to put all that experience to good use and founded Careerly.  Hira leads the finance vertical and covers all banking and financial services, sell side, buy side, as well as the corporate finance function. Naveen is a Senior Product Manager at Amazon working on cutting edge fintech solutions for the Amazon Wallet product line. Previously Naveen was at Citi, as a Vice President in product management for payments. Naveen joined Citi’s leadership development rotation program after graduating with his MBA from Georgetown. He worked on internal consulting and product management teams as part of his rotations. He has considerable in the trenches experience with the recruiting process as an international student, successfully facing climbing over the obstacles he faced at each stage - internship/CPT, OPT, and eventually full H1-B sponsorship. Earlier in his career, Naveen was a consultant at Oracle implementing financial products for major banking clients in the Asia Pacific region.

Stelina has almost half a decade of experience in international development, and is currently with the World Bank. She is a Project Management Consultant in the prestigious and relatively new Technology & Innovation Lab at the Bank. Monica Sanders

Monica's industry experience includes seven years as an attorney in government and international development, and eight years spent as a journalist working on international issues.
